• Redwood Lumber with nails or screws (please de-nail before bringing to The Away Station) only.

Building Materials include:

• Doors
• Windows
• Sinks (best quality only)
• Tubs (best quality only)
• Roofing, Gutters: good-quality only and in ample supply
• Pipes (limited)
• Fittings
• Lumber (denailed)
• Woodwork: architectural salvage, e.g., wainscoting, mantels, good-quality frames
• Flooring
• Countertops
• Cabinets
• Hardscaping, e.g., slate
• Landscaping elements such as garden materials (e.g., pots)
• Plants – yes, non-organic fertilizers-No
• Light fixtures (approved only)
• Toilets (low-flow only)

 

We do not accept the following:

• Lumber with nails or screws (please de-nail before bringing to The Away Station)
• Plumbing fixtures containing lead
• Hazardous Waste
• Commercial or household chemicals
• Garden chemicals
• Pesticides
• Paints
